Salary: £24,300 - £30,600

Contract: Fixed Term (12 Months) Full time 35 hours per week

Join our dynamic Content Operations team as an Associate Content Manager and support the end-to-end production of high-quality academic journal content. You'll be responsible for ensuring content is produced on time, within budget, and meets industry standards for print and online publications. This role is essential to maintaining our competitive edge in academic publishing.

About The Role
As an Associate Content Manager, you'll coordinate the publication process from accepted manuscript to online and print publication, handling Open Access, production workflows, and different types of publishing models including continuous publication, FirstView, and issue-based.
You'll liaise daily with authors, editorial teams, offshore suppliers and freelancers, managing smooth workflows and supporting production quality. With training provided, this entry-level role offers clear progression to Content Manager, where you can lead your own projects more independently.

* A strong grasp of digital tools like Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Cloud. Knowledge of Filemaker and Salesforce is desirable but not essential
* The ability to work independently and within a team
* Project management skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
* An awareness of publishing and the industry trends
* A willingness and open-minded nature towards learning new systems and processes
