Select Catering Solutions is a company that supplies disposables, cleaning products, and equipment to the hospitality industry and the public sector.
We also have a sister company called Carrara Coffee Roasters, where we roast and package our own coffee on-site and sell this to wholesale and domestic customers.
As part of the job role, you will be responsible for contacting our customers weekly to see if they would like to place an order and offer those customers promotional items.
For both companies, you will be the first point of contact for incoming calls and will be responsible for taking orders, selling promotional items, and passing any external sales leads to our Sales Team.
You will also handle customer service issues and help to resolve these.
You will be required to provide support within the business, in addition to troubleshooting and alleviating problems as they arise.
We require a professional, highly motivated, organized, dedicated, and team-oriented person to work in this busy and friendly sales office.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The main duties of the Internal Account Manager are listed below, but it is the nature of the job that each activity will have its own range of demands which you will be expected to meet.
INTERNAL ACCOUNT MANAGER
* Answer incoming calls.
* Work alongside an external sales manager.
* Look after a customer base for internal issues.
* Deal with customers' part order issues.
* Be the first point of contact for customer queries.
* Raise purchase orders.
* Handle bespoke customer orders.
* Maintain and complete the daily call list.
* Discuss products and orders with existing customers.
* Operate Sage 50 software to process orders, generate invoices, and raise credit notes.
* Support and work alongside a business development executive to manage their geographical area.
* Liaise with the warehouse regarding orders and deliveries.
* Re-establish contact with non-spend/low spend accounts to establish new opportunities.
ADMIN
* Check sales orders against the sales ledger.
* Organize customer collections and log reasons for returns.
* Raise returns paperwork.
* Provide supporting information on customer accounts for the field sales team.
* Maintain new lead records.
* Request samples from suppliers.
GENERAL
* Successfully achieve departmental service level agreements.
* Complete annual ‘SMART’ objectives set with the line manager, which are to be reviewed regularly.
* Follow Select Catering Solutions and Carrara Coffee Health and Safety and ISO 9001 processes.
* The above list is not exhaustive, and the post holder will undertake other duties as required.
