Internal Communications & Business Manager (Technical Language) | City of London (Hybrid) | £65,000 - £70,000
My client, a global leader within financial services, are currently recruiting for a brand-new position of Internal Communications and Business Manager within their Technology department. They are looking for someone with experience communicating internally via intranet, email, blogs, social media, podcasts and banners!
Your Responsibilities
* Review the current internal communication practices and play a critical role in shaping a new and developed internal communication strategy that fits with the company values
* Own and take control on those areas and execute a new and improved approach that aligns with the company wide strategy
* Create and implement internal content to share on the internal channels to inform and engage colleagues ensuring clarity and consistency
* Host regular meetings with the senior leadership team to share updates and gain feedback
* Translate technical language into more appropriate business messages
* Act as a key advisor to the leadership team on any internal comms matters
About you
* 5+ years’ experience within a communications role, a smaller tech organisation preferred
* Strong knowledge of technical language, e.g. AI, cyber threats, software
* Experience developing, designing and writing communications via various channels such as articles and blog posts
* Proficient in multiple communication tools and platforms
* Good understanding of storytelling and presenting data
