Ready to make a real impact in Geography? At Ebbsfleet Academy, we’re seeking a passionate Lead Practitioner - Geography to elevate our Geography department and inspire the next generation. Following our recent Ofsted news, where we were praised for being on track for an Outstanding rating, this is an exciting opportunity to be part of a school that is moving forward at an exceptional pace!
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality Geography lessons that engage and challenge students.
* Lead curriculum development and share best practices to improve teaching across the department.
* Use data and innovative approaches to improve student outcomes in Geography.
* Provide leadership and support to colleagues, helping them to grow in their teaching practice.
* Work with the senior leadership team to lead on aspects of whole school improvement with the Teaching & Learning Team.
What We’re Looking For:
* A qualified teacher with expertise in Geography.
* A strong track record of improving teaching and learning.
* A collaborative leader with excellent communication and organisational skills.
This is a permanent opportunity which offers a salary on the leadership scale and we would like our successful candidate to join us from September 2025.
