Machine Setter / Operator (Late Shift)
Late Shift Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday, 14:00 to 23:30 (30-minute paid break)
Friday, Non-Working day
Location: Cheltenham, UK (On-site)

Role Overview:
The post-holder will set and operate CNC lathes.
Your objectives and responsibilities will focus on…
1. Setting computer numerically controlled lathes (CNC)
2. Producing parts to drawing, deburring, cleaning and packaging to set procedures
3. Ensuring excellent quality through the inspection of parts using measuring equipment such as gauges, verniers and micrometres
4. Understanding and complying with Company Environmental, health & Safety (EHS) practices, identifying areas for improvement and supporting related initiatives
5. Working to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), production rates, workplace organisation, front line operator asset care (FLOAC), maintenance and cleanliness of machine equipment
Your previous experience is likely to include…
1. Basic CNC setting and operating experience
2. Basic experience with measuring equipment
3. Working within a production environment
To be successful in this role you will…
1. Have basic engineering drawing competency and programme reading skills
2. Hold NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Manufacturing, or be qualified by experience
3. Demonstrate Company Core Values at all times
4. Be able to work to daily plans and tasks using numeracy and literacy skills
5. Follow instructions accurately, maintaining high levels of quality through excellent attention to detail
6. Aspire to learn and develop in the role
