The post-holder will:
· Oversee DHSCs transition to the new Better Regulation Framework and establish new arrangements to help ensure compliance;
· Promote and raise awareness of the reforms across DHSC including leading engagement and communication activities (e.g. workshops, teach-ins, presentations) and a suite of materials;
· Negotiate with and influence the Department of Business and Trade on implementation of the reforms;
· Collaborate with DHSCs economists and policy, strategy and parliamentary teams to deliver regulatory reforms (both primary and secondary legislation) and navigate the new gateway;
· Provide clear and concise advice to DHSC ministers on the opportunities in this area
· Oversee DHSCs Post-Implementation Review programme, and the Departments relationship with the Regulatory Policy Committee;
· Provide line management and development opportunities to one SEO;
· Promote a positive and inclusive environment in which team members are supported to develop, and

This role is being advertised on a permanent basis. Your normal place of work will be your contractual primary workplace, usually either London or Leeds. (delete/add as appropriate) Within DHSC we offer non-contractual hybrid working.
