About the Role
We are seeking a QHSE Advisor to support our freezer operation for Sainsbury's in Northampton. This is a full-time, permanent position that requires flexibility on some occasions.
Responsibilities
* Support the QHSE Manager in ensuring Health, Safety, and Environmental matters are handled efficiently and in line with legislation and best practice.
* Review and create risk assessments and safe systems of work for all tasks carried out within the warehouse.
* Manage and coordinate the monthly internal QHSE meeting, ensuring accurate stats and KPIs.
* Champion the Health and Safety function throughout the site and wider network.
Requirements
* Previous experience in an operationally focused, Health and Safety role from a food environment, manufacturing, or grocery background.
* Essential qualification of a NEBOSH General Certificate, with HACCAP being desirable.
* Strong working knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environmental legislative framework.
* Able to establish strong working relationships with stakeholders and demonstrate a results-driven approach.
