We work closely with schools to deliver tailored learning solutions, and we're currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant school community. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be working alongside the class teacher to support children with a variety of learning difficulties, ensuring that they have the tools and support they need to thrive in their educational journey. You will provide one-to-one and small group support, assist with classroom management, and help students engage with their lessons in a supportive and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Support children with SEN on a one-to-one or small group basis.
Assist the class teacher in delivering lessons and adapting materials to suit individual needs.
Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
Provide personal care and support to students where necessary.
Encourage students to build their social, communication, and academic skills.
Monitor and record students’ progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
Foster an inclusive and supportive learning atmosphere.Qualifications and Experience:
A passion for supporting students with special educational needs.
Previous experience working with children in an educational setting (SEN experience preferred).
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students and staff.
A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach to working with children.
Relevant qualifications such as Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent (desirable).Why Join Us:
