The Multi-Strategies Transaction Management team plays a vital role to provide investment deal closing support to cross private markets investment strategies through a scalable transaction execution platform.
The role of a Transaction Manager is to work in-step with the investment and functional teams to ensure smooth and timely closings of private investments. This entails clear and tactful communication with various stakeholders and elite organisational skills with superb attention to details to drive our execution capabilities, as well as expertise in transaction closing, finance, tax, and operations.
What Impact can you make in this role?
You will be part of a team that provides investment services on private equity, real estate, infrastructure, and cross-strategy investments.
Responsibilities:
* Liaise and act as point of contact with external and internal counterparties, and process deal execution relating to internal compliance, KYC, structures, board resolutions, regulatory approvals, documentation signatories, and internal authorizations.
* Ensure accurate and timely exchange of documentation and funding for new investments, and resolution of any internal queries.
* Partner with investment, finance, tax, and legal teams to execute efficient and timely deal closings.
* Administer and navigate concurrent deal closings and deal volume across multiple asset classes while working with various stakeholders.
* Be the go-to resource for the investment team’s investment process, administrative procedures, and compliance policies queries, including advisory on approval processes and deal closing requirements and timelines.
* Work closely with the Private Equity and Real Estate Transaction Management team to conceptualize and drive the successful execution of the transaction management platform across the regions.
* Identify gaps in current workflow and take a proactive approach (technology-enabled solutions where applicable) to drive operational front-mid-back process improvements and efficiencies, and reduce operational risks.
Requirements:
* Degree in finance, business, or other related fields with a minimum of 5 years relevant work experience in a similar role.
* Knowledge of private sector investing and deal execution experience in the private equity and/or infrastructure industries preferred.
* Good understanding and awareness of private investments’ documentation, company secretarial practices, and the nuances of transactions are advantageous.
* Detail-oriented analytical thinker, with creative problem-solving capabilities to effectively manage complex situations in a timely manner.
* Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deals at any given time.
* Good interpersonal and stakeholder management skills and drive partnership with internal and external stakeholders.
* An inquisitive self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional, cross-regions multicultural environment.
