Job Advert: Enterprise Manager - Fleet and Retail
Location: Coventry
Hours: This will be 37.5 hours per week with a mix of shifts, including weekend working on a rota.
Salary: £32,000 - This is a temp-to-perm contract. Your first 12 weeks will be paid at £16.41.
I am currently working with a charitable organisation who is seeking a dynamic and experienced Enterprise Manager to oversee the retail and fleet operations within our business. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in managing complex operations and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance the performance of the retail and fleet operations.
2. Oversee the day-to-day management of retail stores and fleet vehicles.
3. Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing team of staff.
4. Monitor financial performance and identify opportunities for cost savings.
5. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
6. Foster strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
7. Manage and oversee Social Enterprises and contribute to the development of our Social Enterprises.
8. Oversee the use of our electronic systems (Micromarket) and our online platforms, ensuring correct data input and optimising online sales.
9. Participate in the organising of contracted work of collecting Bulky Waste, managing the collections and ensuring maximum reuse and recycling.
Qualifications and Experience:
1. Must be a driver.
2. Experience managing charity retail outlets and developing enterprises.
3. Desirable to have recent charity retail experience and working with volunteers.
4. Ability to lead a team, manage, empower, and motivate others.
5. Experience of budgeting and managing the profit and loss to achieve profit.
6. Enthusiastic with a 'can do' attitude.
