Then our Football Services Coordinator role may be the job for you!
What will I be doing day to day?
* Processing registrations on the COMET system which is the database and competition management system for all football in Wales.
* Providing support and customer service to all COMET System users, including over the phone, by email and via support tickets.
* Working as part of the Football Services team to identify recurring issues and devise ways to best educate the wider football community.
* Working on ad-hoc projects as and when requested.
* Providing support and assistance to other FAW departments e.g. ticketing, Team Operations roles at National Team matches and event based roles at FAW Cup Finals.
What experience do I need?
* No specific previous experience is required, we want someone who can demonstrate their customer service and accurate data entry skills but this may be from education or voluntary roles.
What skills do I need to be good at this job?
* A passion for providing great customer service – the ability to be supportive and patient with queries with excellent communication skills.
* A great team player – the Football Services team work really closely together and support the wider FAW.
* Ability to enter data accurately and check your own work – all information about everyone involved in football in Wales is in our COMET system and must be accurate.
Anything else I need to know?
* This is initially a 1-year fixed term contract so can be used as a placement or could lead to a permanent role.
* Our Football Services team work on a rota basis to include evenings and weekends – e.g., work patterns may be from 9am to 5pm or 12pm to 8pm, and one weekend in two may be worked. Where weekends are worked, employees will have days off during the week.
* You need to be able to regularly attend the office at Hensol, Vale of Glamorgan but there is some flexibility to work from home.
* Starting salary for the role is £21,500.
