We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Nottinghamshire to assist with the appointment of a Service Organiser, on a 2-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: £13.47 - £17.43 per Hour
Summary:
The Service Organiser will be responsible for coordinating, managing, and supporting a range of specialist functions within the Commissioning and Placements Group. This role supports commissioning and contract management work across the group, including placements for children in care, care leavers, short breaks, respite care, and education placements in independent specialist schools.
Responsibilities:
* Act as the main contact for commissioning referrals.
* Monitor databases and ensure all required data is accurately recorded.
* Liaise with social workers, partner agencies, providers, and families to obtain necessary information.
* Assist in preparing reports, quality assurance documents, and audit reviews.
* Support contract management and commissioning processes.
* Maintain accurate documentation and correspondence.
Qualifications:
* Knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, and risk management.
* Understanding of equity, diversity, and inclusion.
* Familiarity with relevant legislation, including The Children and Families Act and Short Breaks regulations.
* Awareness of disability, mental health, and complex health needs.
Essentials:
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to solve problems and make informed decisions.
* Effective time management and the ability to meet deadlines.
* Experience working in education, business support, or children's social care.
* Experience in multi-agency environments and partnership collaboration.
