The Project
As an experienced Site Supervisor, you will be playing a significant role on a £20m Hospital Upgrade situated in Hereford. You will also be responsible for overseeing project schedules and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective progress. Your main focus will be on executing the upgrade with exceptional efficiency, maintaining the highest quality standards, and achieving a seamless and successful project completion.
Requirements
For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum:
1. SMSTS or SSSTS
2. CSCS
3. First Aid
It is also essential that you hold the experience below:
1. Proven history of successfully delivering healthcare upgrade schemes with project values in excess of £10m
2. Extensive background within the industry with at least 3 years of experience working in a Site Supervisor position or similar
Additional skills:
1. Quality control
2. Impressive leadership and mentoring abilities
3. Capacity to prioritize health and safety effectively
4. Good knowledge of construction laws and regulations
5. Strong Mechanical or Electrical knowledge (Desirable)
6. A solid understanding of construction materials, methods, and techniques
7. Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations pertaining to finishing tasks
8. Thorough understanding of mechanical systems and structural engineering principles
9. Strong written and verbal communication skills with a thorough meticulous eye for detail
10. Ability to efficiently utilize tools and equipment relevant to mechanical and structural work

Duties
1. Health & Safety
2. Updating Site Diaries
3. Inductions / Toolbox Talks
4. Reporting regularly to Site Manager
5. Attending and Participating in Project meetings
6. Establish and enforce health and safety protocols at the site
7. Keep precise records of all technical issues and their resolutions
8. Track work expenses to ensure they stay within the allocated budget
9. Conduct risk assessments and ensure that all potential hazards are mitigated
10. Compile and present routine progress reports to project managers and stakeholders
11. Oversee material usage and ensure that supplies are timely ordered and delivered
12. Perform routine inspections of work, verifying quality and compliance with standards and regulations
13. Generate cost reports and pinpoint opportunities for cost savings while maintaining quality standards
14. Ensuring all documentation, including plans, reports, and records, is up-to-date and properly maintained
15. Develop and maintain plans and schedules for tasks ensuring alignment with project timelines and milestones
16. Monitor and manage the daily operations of contractors, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications
