An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Continence Clinical Lead post in Wiltshire Health and Care. The successful candidate will need to be highly motivated with a dedicated passion for excellence in continence care. Working as part of a team, you will need excellent communication and organisational skills, and be expected to give expert clinical continence advice on a range of bladder and bowel dysfunctions and implement continence care in an area that requires highly specialist knowledge and skills.
Main duties of the job
As a clinical lead, you will provide support, advice, and clinical supervision to junior members of the team and ensure operational efficiency of continence clinical care pathways. Also, to act as a resource to other professionals, patients, and carers.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Registered Nursing Degree or Degree (BSc Hons Physiotherapy) or equivalent.
* HPC Registered or NMC registered
* Evidence of substantial CPD in Continence management and or other clinically related and relevant subjects.
* Teaching and assessing in clinical practice
* To possess a current, valid driving licence and to be a competent driver
* Evidence of continuing professional development
* Knowledge of legislation affecting professional practice
* Experience of applying research-based information to practice
* Leadership and Management training
* Further qualifications relevant to continence practice
* Awareness of recent Government initiatives that may affect future clinical practice
* To be knowledgeable of the clinical governance agenda and have an awareness of commissioning
* Evidence of formulation protocols and standards.
