The Role
We are seeking a Computer Repair & Sales Senior Technician to join our growing team. This is a key role that requires a technician with a proven track record in computer repair who can work independently after relevant training. Verified experience with references is mandatory.
You will take charge of diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues, ensuring efficiency and precision in repairs. Your expertise will also support the wider team, offering mentorship and guidance to junior technicians.
1. Independently diagnose, repair, and service Apple devices (MacBooks, iMacs, iPhones, iPads, and other related technology). Windows / Android experience also desired.
2. Implement and refine efficient repair procedures to optimise workflow and customer satisfaction.
3. Train and mentor junior technicians, supporting their technical growth.
4. Provide top-tier customer service, ensuring clear communication of technical issues and solutions.
5. Maintain an organised and well-stocked repair environment.
6. Assist with in-store sales and offer expert recommendations on products and accessories.
7. Contribute to engaging social media content showcasing repairs, tips, and industry insights.
Requirements
1. Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in computer repair, with a focus on Apple and Windows products.
2. Must provide references to verify previous repair experience.
3. Strong troubleshooting expertise in hardware and software.
4. Ability to confidently work independently after initial training.
5. Excellent English communication and listening skills.
6. At least 3 years of customer service experience (preferably).
7. Minimum 3 years of experience in motherboard/component repairs (preferred).
8. Strong leadership skills, capable of mentoring and motivating a team.
9. Willingness to travel between branch locations when required. (Location: Camden, Shoreditch, Lewisham and Wimbledon)
Education & Qualifications
1. Either an undergraduate degree (2:1 minimum) in Computing (or a related field) or 10+ years of proven hands-on repair experience.
2. Minimum 3 A-Levels (A-C) in subjects such as Maths, Computer Science, Science, or Media (preferred). Minimum 5 GCSEs (9-4) in subjects including Computer Science or Media (preferred).
What We Offer
Attractive salary (£27,500 - £33,000 per year). - Based on Experience
