The primary focus of the post is to provide high quality cleaning service to Woodlands Community Hub and Futures café. You will work towards and achieving the agreed Key Performance Indicators and performance objectives and ensure a high level of service is always provided.
Main duties
• Cleaning and support services
• Clean the community Hub and Café areas and external areas to appropriate standards including:
• Floors, furniture, kitchen and toilets
• Removal of rubbish to refuse/recycling collection area
• Floor buffing and polishing
• Maintain Paintwork/walls etc
• Emergency removal of graffiti/litter/leaves etc
• Prepare halls/rooms for hirers/user groups as required.
• Health & Safety & Security
• Secure the Hub and café buildings; locking and unlocking all windows and doors as required as well as ensuring that all emergency lights and exit lights are in operation.
• Ensure that emergency doors/fire exits are unlocked as required and free from obstructions.
• Record and report any defects or faults in facilities and equipment to Hub Coordinator or café Manager.
• Observe and implement Health & Safety policies, practices and procedures at all times.
• Ensure Health & Safety procedures and manufacturer’s instructions are followed when using cleaning chemicals.
• Monitor the use of cleaning materials and advise the Community Centre Manager of stock requirements accordingly.

Working Pattern: Saturdays & Sundays / 6:00am-10.30am
