We’re searching for a Head of Agency Sales in Bristol or London to join our team of free thinkers and collaborators.
You will be accountable for development, planning and successful delivery of edyn’s transient and specialist (Entertainment) Agency segment sales strategy and revenue targets, across the UK, Ireland and Europe. You'll grow edyn’s market share, sales of room nights and achieve defined B2B revenue targets from new and existing transient and specialist Agencies in line with edyn’s overall commercial strategy.
It will be your responsibility to determine, negotiate and optimise key agency and GDS partnerships whilst ensuring best in class account management across a portfolio of accounts including Travel Management Companies, Consortia, Business Travel Agencies and specialist Agencies. You will also collaborate with the IT and Distribution Teams to develop a strategy to grow our market share of GDS bookings by improving visibility and reach
A role less ordinary.
1. Accountable for development, planning and successful delivery of edyn’s transient and specialist (Entertainment) Agency segment sales strategy and revenue targets, across the UK, Ireland and Europe.
2. To grow edyn’s market share, sales of room nights and achieve defined B2B revenue targets from new and existing transient and specialist Agencies in line with edyn’s overall commercial strategy.
3. To determine, negotiate and optimise key agency and GDS partnerships whilst ensuring best in class account management across a portfolio of accounts including Travel Management Companies, Consortia, Business Travel Agencies and specialist Agencies.
4. Visibly lead, manage and develop a highly engaged and high performing Agency Sales Manager to develop and deliver the plans needed to grow revenue in line with targets
5. Recruit and develop high calibre sales team members who are resilient, tenacious, outcome focused and imbibe our values
6. To collaborate with the IT and Distribution Teams to develop a strategy to grow our market share of GDS bookings by improving visibility and reach
7. Be the voice of your customers within edyn and develop an in-depth understanding of the sector based on market intelligence and customer insight
8. Work collaboratively with Distribution, Operations, Marketing and IT to improve and enhance the customer booking journey, in hotel service and proposition available for your customers
Who you are.
9. Significant B2B, Agency and Entertainment sector sales experience with a strong track record of delivering sales growth in the hospitality industry is highly desirable
10. Experience of leading and managing teams and driving sales performance in a fast moving, challenging and multi-channel environment
11. Demonstrable experience of successfully developing and implementing a B2B sales strategy across an organisation
12. Successful track record of working in collaboration with and as part of senior leadership teams with excellent communications and relationship building skills
13. Able to operationalise strategic plans into tangible, sustainable results
14. Detail focussed and analytical, strong organisational and prioritisation skills, commercially aware, numerate with the ability to identify opportunities.
15. Comfortable operating in a matrix organisation and delivering through others as part of a shared vision

Our natural habitat.
We believe in working flexibly – this includes flexibility in work location, working days (including weekends and bank holidays in operations) and working hours. This may be ad hoc or permanent flexibility. Ask your recruiting manager or see our careers page for more information.
Based at London or Bristol primarily.
You will also have the flexibility to travel to other sites across the UK and Europe as and when required by the business. You will be able to work flexibly 3 days in office and 2 days from home
