Oakpark Security is currently seeking to recruit a Control Room Operator to work at our Head Office in Colchester due to recent company expansion.
This will be a part-time role, ideal for students or those with childcare responsibilities, and will focus around working in our Control Room, with a dedicated focus on reporting and data analysis. You will support the current control room team through a focus on managing reports and job tasks through our work management software (full training will be provided on the system).
This role requires competency with IT skills, being comfortable with organizing data and producing written feedback on reports. You will also be required to liaise with managers concerning data and task performance.
The role is for 10 hours per week, ideally for 2 hours per day Monday to Friday mornings. We are flexible on arrangements and this can be discussed at interview.
Bank holidays worked will be compensated at double the standard rate. While a driving license is preferred, it is not essential. All applicants must hold a valid SIA license.
Responsibilities:
* Perform basic administrative tasks.
* Manage work management portal and dispatch/close down jobs.
* Investigate non-completion of tasks.
* Provide written feedback to senior management on data trends.
* Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
Requirements:
* A valid SIA license is needed (Security Guarding or Door Supervision) but we can organise that training for the successful candidate.
* Proficient in working with computers and technology.
* Comfortable with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.
* Willing to undertake training in new systems.
* Able to look at large amounts of data and isolate trends in performance.
