Job Overview
With a presence in 9 countries and over 10,000 employees globally, this organisation manufacture sustainable recycled paper, corrugated cardboard and flexible packaging as well as providing solutions for waste management and the recovery of waste.
We are now seeking an enthusiastic and driven Health, Safety & Environmental Management individual to take up the lead role at the site in County Fermanagh with circa 130 employees.
The Role
- Coordinating activities required on site to meet Company, site and regulatory HSE standards.
- Ensure compliance with specific external and internal standards
- Develop, execute and improve HSE processes and activities with the emphasis on continuous improvement, accident and environmental impact prevention and compliance to meet the needs of our customers, business, and stakeholders.
- Develop and implement HSE training to support the needs of the business and its stakeholders.
- Develop and manage short and long term HSE strategy, objectives, and KPI's
- Help develop a culture of Safety, Compliance and Continuous Improvement across the site.
Essential Criteria
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent
- At least 3 years' experience in a HSE role preferably within a Manufacturing environment
- Extensive experience of developing and managing HSE systems and audit processes with previous experience of management standards (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, FSC,BRC)
- Previous experience in print/packaging industry a distinct advantage
