Job Title:
Lead Process Engineer
Job Summary:
Purpose:
* To provide proactive management of the interface to client process lead or technical authority, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company design practices specifications and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain relationships with consultants for provision of engineering services and management of specialist E&I/HVAC engineering software requirements.
* Refer to client's technical documents to realise studies.
* Suggest process discipline engineering and procurement deliverables for in-house work on studies and RFM projects.
* Implement work packs including job risk assessments, certification, and job card estimates for all classes of RFM.
* Evaluate project solutions concerning discipline quality assurance.
* Prepare discipline engineering man-hour estimates and review those developed by engineering consultants.
* Facilitate process and hazard safety and design reviews such as HAZOP/HAZARD studies.
* Reports hierarchically to: Head of Projects and Engineering.
Requirements:
Candidate Profile:
* Proven experience in a similar position within the Oil & Gas industry.
* Degree: Bachelor of Engineering (Honours or above), Professional / Chartered Engineer.
* Languages: English.
* Training/Certification: Required training to go offshore (if necessary).
* Excellent Technical HSE awareness.
* Brownfield Engineering for Plant Modifications.
* Strong proficiency in process engineering design.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) while building/maintaining relationships.
Salary:
$90,000 - $110,000 per annum depending on experience.
