Controls Engineer (PLC / Automation)
Location: Gloucester
Salary: £50,000 to £62,000 Flexible DOE + Contributory Pension + 25 Days Holiday + Additional 5 Days Holiday with Service + Private Medical + Group Life Assurance (5 x Salary) + Income Protection + Training and Development
Hours: 37 Hours Per Week - Week 1 Monday to Friday, Week 2 Monday to Thursday - Every Second Friday Off

To apply for this role, you will need experience with PLC, HMI, and motion programming, ideally with robotic applications, but candidates from any industry background are welcome.
The successful Controls / Automation Engineer will be based at the company’s site in Gloucester, working within a small team programming PLC, HMI, and Motion Control applications for automated machinery. You will work on both new and existing machinery, being involved in both programming from scratch and modification.
The role will also require international travel, with expectations to travel four to five times per year for two to three weeks at a time. You will typically travel alongside mechanical service engineers to resolve any issues that arise after the machinery is rebuilt on customer sites.
