Job Title: Electrical Project Manager
Location: Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire
Salary: 60 - 66k + bonus

An established Electrical Contractor are currently looking for an Electrical Project Manager to join their team in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire due to continued growth and a strong order book for 2025.
The company delivers new build installation and fit-out projects across the London, South of England and Midlands area in a variety of sectors within commercial and industrial including warehouse units, retail, hospitals, schools and offices. These projects are typically valued from £50k to £1m.
As the Electrical Project Manager, you will lead and oversee multiple electrical projects simultaneously from inception to completion and be responsible to ensure the projects are completed according to schedule and budget, undertaking effective planning to make sure the projects completed are profitable.
As the Electrical Project Manager, you will have the following responsibilities:
Oversee all electrical building services and working practices, ensuring compliance with HSE policies.
Manage materials, labour, installation, procurement and drawing programmes to accord with installation and specification requirements.
Manage a detailed electrical building services programme to align with main contractors or end users' programme.
Manage project progress and track schedules.
Act as the spokesperson on electrical issues in site meetings.
Financial management of projects, including financial forecasting and labour forecasting.
Maintain close working relationships with clients, other sub-contractors and internal teams.
Ensure a smooth electrical handover to the client and provide aftercare support.
Successful applicants will have the following qualifications and experience:
Valid ECS card.
Time Served Apprentice or relevant Electrical qualifications.
Experience of managing electrical project values up to £1M particularly commercial and industrial projects.
Overall knowledge and understanding of a wide variety of electrical systems and their installation methods.
Consistently good financial returns on projects, considering all relevant factors.
Effective planning and project management skills.
Good people management and motivational skills.
The ability to work under pressure to meet set deadlines.
The ability to plan, co-ordinate and prioritise workloads.
