We have 2 UK based sites in Newport and Cardiff. What You'll Be Doing As our Systems Administrator you will be part of a wider IT Operations and Support Team which is accountable for the availability, maintenance and monitoring of Target's servers and infrastructure. You will work primarily with Linux based systems, predominately Red Hat, but any knowledge of Microsoft, VMWare, Veeam and AWS would be beneficial More Specifically, you'll Ensure availability of Target's infrastructure estate by means of pro-active maintenance, monitoring and continuous improvement Maintain Target's adherance to regulatory and contractual SLA's by keeping the RHEL estate updated and secure Work with other 3rd line colleagues to develop skills, knowledge, and capability to enhance self-development. Provide support and mentoring for 1st and 2nd Line staff within other support teams. Possess and develop the ability to methodically isolate and resolve faults, as well as identify problems that impact the wider business. You will also support on project based work and be exposed to a wide range of technologies as part of your daily duties Requirements What We're Looking For Someone with experience of: RHEL Server Infrastructure Red Hat Satellite management tools Microsoft PowerShell/Bash/Python for automation. Veeam Backup infrastructure. VMWare Administration.
