St Leonard’s Hospice provides care and support for local people with life limiting illnesses. We couldn’t carry out the important work we do without a committed and talented team of volunteers – people of all ages, and from all walks of life who help us provide care and support throughout the organisation. They are based both onsite at the Hospice, and across our community in our shops, Donation Centre and Wellbeing Hubs. If you are not sure where you would like to volunteer, there are a variety of roles where you can trial a shift or two before applying. This will give you the opportunity to meet the team, talk to other volunteers to see what they enjoy about the role and have a go at some of the tasks you might be doing. For safeguarding reasons, tasters are only available to people who are 16 and over.
