Role
You will get involved in all aspects of the employee life cycle: recruiting, onboarding, reviewing performance, training staff, updating Handbook and policy, being up to date with legislation, and managing exits from the company.
This is a part-time role requiring 20-25 hours per week.
Responsibilities
* Management of all HR Administration, HR reporting, HR inbox, and HR systems.
* Maintain HR records for all employees – training, sick leave, holidays, etc. Indicate to managers if there are any issues or gaps in training and performance reviews, using the information and any reports you have compiled.
* Act as the first point of contact for all HR-related queries, escalating to management as required.
* Provide training to employees in various HR subjects and give support to employees/managers through HR processes.
* Support overall employee satisfaction by answering employee requests and questions in a timely manner.
* Assist the company in the continuous development and execution of strategic HR initiatives and on the implementation of HR policies and Handbook.
* Keep up to date on employment law matters and update the employee handbook accordingly.
Requirements
* Experience working in Human Resources is essential. The ideal candidate will have 3 – 4 years’ experience working in an HR Generalist role.
* A primary degree in Human Resources Management or a related field such as business, management, or social sciences.
* Proficiency in data management and reporting, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of information.
* Be comfortable with HR advisory and process management.
* Excellent IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
