We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accountants Assistant to join a finance team in the High Wycombe area. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of accounting principles, general ledger accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and ledger management. Experience with Sage 100 is highly desirable. Day-to-day of the role: Accounting Principles: Manage accounts receivable (AR), accounts payable (AP), payroll, compliance, and invoicing processes. General Ledger: Perform general ledger accounting and financial reconciliations. Purchase & Sales Ledger: Oversee purchase and sales ledger activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Cash Flow Management: Oversee cash flow management and reporting. Reporting & Budgeting: Assist with budget preparation. Accounting Standards: Ensure compliance with high accounting standards. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience as an Accounts Assistant or worked within a similar role. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures. Experience with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions and the month-end/year-end close process. Hands-on experience with accounting software, preferably Sage 100. Excellent accounting software user and administration skills. Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
