The opportunity to make internet connections (and daily life) a whole lot better, for a lot of people Joining us as a Finance Manager - Financial Reporting Lead and provide expert technical accounting guidance, including acquisition accounting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Support the preparation of year-end Group statutory accounts and oversee the coordination of the external audit process, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment. This is some of what you can expect to be doing: Provide technical accounting advice on key transactions, including revenue recognition, lease and acquisition accounting Assist with opening balance sheets, purchase accounting, and transaction cost tracking for acquisitions Contribute to audits, acquisitions, and other projects requiring technical expertise Prepare accounting papers for management and auditors, support consolidation and financial reporting, ensuring compliance with standards, company law, and Walker guidelines Analyse the impact of complex transactions on financial statements and manage the accounting policy manual Communicate financial concepts clearly to senior stakeholders What you’ll bring to the role You will be a fully qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA) with post-qualification experience and someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
