JobPurpose/Overview
OneDemand Data & Analytics (ODDA) is a Mars Wrigley program thatharnesses the power of data and insights to solve some of thecritical business-wide problems we face - unlocking quality growthand operational excellence.
Through ODDA, wedeliver connected insights across the entire demand ecosystem. Weempower our Associates with the right data, tools and capabilitiesso they can take decisive action, maximizing value and making ameaningful impact on our consumers, our customers and ourbusiness.
The Portfolio, Innovation, R&DAnalytics vertical within ODDA seeks to equip Mars Associates withthe capabilities needed to address long-term portfolio health froma holistic and analytics-driven viewpoint, including end-to-endevolution within the product lifecycle (portfolio shape,optimization, post-innovation review,etc).

KeyResponsibilities
* Manageand build Advanced Analytics capabilities, focusing on Portfolio,Innovation, R&Danalytics
* Develop knowledgeand understanding of the business and the product lifecycle,working with key business stakeholders to understand theirchallenges and formulate business problems & solutions (e.g.,via design thinkingsessions)
* Ideate and buildearly perspectives on actionable insights to the problem and workwith the cross-enablement team (data science, data engineering,DevOps) to develop sustainable and scalable solutions for thesegment globally
* Have astrong understanding of the various statistical techniques, theirapplication and translate the model outcomes into insights/business terms
* Ability tolead complex analytical exercises/projects that lead to actionabledirection within thebusiness
* Skilled at buildingand managing relationships, including stakeholdermanagement
* Excellent oraland written communicationskills
* Experience in runninggovernance processes and helping refine the operatingmodel
* CPG and Retailerknowledge, including knowledge of and experience using key externalthird-party data sources and first-partydata
* Leverage the MarsDigital Engine Framework to find the problem using user centricapproach (Design Thinking), Solve it using Advanced Analytics andMachine Learning, Automate the solution to scale while Deliveringin an agilemanner
* Collaborating withfunctional experts on an ongoing basis to ensure quality deliveryfor the global digital transformationprogram
* Ensure knowledge andbest practices sharing across segments and markets to ensurereusability and improving analyticalmaturity
JobSpecifications/Qualifications
* Extensivehands-on experience in Data &Analytics
* Minimum 2 years ofAnalytics experience in management consulting as well as the CPGindustry preferred
* Minimum 2years of experience in developing analytical models usingmulti-variate regression and build machine learning algorithmsusing data scienceexperience
* Analyzelarge and complex data sources such as Nielsen andSAP
* Strong stakeholderengagement and/or experience in a matrixenvironment
