Over time, you’ll gain exposure to how we make investments, support portfolio companies, and work with our investors. We rely heavily on software and automation, so this role is ideal for someone who enjoys streamlining workflows and getting hands-on with software tools. We’ll support you to grow quickly: previous team members in this role have gone on to strategy and sales roles, and there may be the opportunity to step into more senior positions in our team as we grow. Key responsibilities This role will flex depending on your interests and strengths, but core responsibilities will include: Executive support - Proactively manage complex diaries for the three Partners - Monitor inboxes and support with drafting or responding to emails - Prepare agendas and materials for meetings, and track follow-ups - Act as first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders Operational & administrative support - Maintain and update CRM and other databases - Coordinate events, investor webinars, and team offsites - Liaise with suppliers, universities, and incubator colleagues - Keep our Bristol office running smoothly and stocked with the essentials Strategic & special projects - Create pitch decks, presentations, and briefing notes - Conduct research to support due diligence, investor comms, or partnerships - Support internal systems improvements (Notion, Airtable, GSuite, etc.) - Assist in writing LinkedIn posts, press releases, or award applications What we’re looking for We’re open-minded about background, but the right candidate will likely be: - Exceptionally organised, with a knack for keeping things moving - Interested in early-stage startups, science/tech, or venture capital - A strong communicator (written and verbal) comfortable writing clearly and professionally - A team player who’s happy to help with whatever needs doing and is eager to learn - Very strong with tools and systems – you should be confident using (and learning) a range of tech platforms, including Notion, Airtable, and many more. - Comfortable in a high-trust, high-autonomy environment Bonus if you: - Have a qualification in science or engineering - Have experience managing projects, events, or communications - Love building workflows or automating tasks What we offer - £27,000–£38,000 salary depending on experience - Private healthcare (after probation) - Flexible and hybrid working (Bristol-based with some in-office time) - 27 days holiday your birthday off bank holidays - Training budget and ongoing support for development - Opportunities to grow into more strategic roles over time - A friendly, fun, and high-performing team environment How to apply Please apply via our online application system and include a cover letter explaining why you’re excited about this role.
