Job summary A fantastic opportunity has become available to join the Urgent Treatment Centre at PAH for an Emergency Nurse Practitioner. As part of a multi-professional team, led by the lead Emergency Department Consultant and Lead ENP you will practice autonomously as an ENP within an acute setting to provide patient-centred quality care. You will provide assessment, examination, diagnosis and treatment within an agreed scope of practice within the Urgent Treatment Centre whilst being accountable and self-directed in line with the relevant code of professional conduct. You will support an efficient and patient-focused service and will ensure safe referral and discharge of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed presentations in any area of the Urgent Treatment Centre working with both adults and children. We will also consider applications from people with either emergency care experience and/or those who have completed a minor injury course. If successful then we can either provide the appropriate University based training or offer clinical support to consolidate a current course holder however this will be at a Band 6 until the NHSE UEC - Emergency Practitioner Framework competencies have been achieved. The post holder will then progress into a Band 7 once completed.
