The Facilities Lead role is key in delivering the 'wow' factor to our colleagues and guests as and when they interact with you on the reception desk, as well as dealing with internal stakeholders, couriers, deliveries, queries via email, MS Teams and over the phone. You will assist with tasks related to facility management and appearance (meeting rooms, stock, contractors). The work environment can be fast paced at peak times, you will work with another colleague on the desk at the same time, or sometimes solo work depending on the level of business. The UK Facilities & Real Estate team role is office based and can support full time hours (40 hours/week) Monday until Friday. Physical activity is a daily part of this role, you will need to be able to lift (aligning with UK HSE guidance) bend, stoop, walk, climb stairs, and sometimes sit at reception for long periods. The selection process is focused upon attributes and relevant practical experience, as opposed to prescribed levels of academic or professional qualification. Key attributes for the role include, but are not limited to: Good communication and interpersonal skills with stakeholders at all levels of the business. Strong work ethic and proactivity, self-motivation and initiative. Ability to positively deal with unexpected change. Work regime flexibility and accepting there are periods of increased working requirements. Patience, positivity, and resilience. Enjoys team camaraderie whilst is also being able to work independently. Previous Facilities & Real Estate or similar experience is desirable, but not essential.
