The home is centred around a nineteenth century barn, which has been selectively extended in keeping with its character. This provides the homeliness that Jasmine seeks for its homes, whilst still providing modern living accommodation. The home sits within two acres of landscaped grounds, and provides personal and dementia care for 41 residents. Competencies for Care Co-ordinator: Ability to work under pressure Excellent people skills A caring and nurturing attitude Positive and enthusiastic outlook Good time management skills Good written and oral communication skills Day to Day Responsibilities for Care Co-ordinator: As a Care-Coordinator you will provide the highest possible levels of care in supporting and assisting our residents in all aspects of daily living and promoting our resident's independence with a focus on choice, dignity and respect, alongside promoting their physical and emotional wellbeing. You will support our Senior Care Assistant on shift, assisting them with delegating work, medication and supporting team members to ensure that high standards are maintained, and paperwork is completed correctly. You will ensure all Daily Charts are completed correctly, supporting carers to complete all paperwork to a high standard, ensuring 90% is achieved in all Monthly Charts Audits. You will ensure all Team Members are always up to date with their Mandatory Training and assist with the smooth running of the shifts, including assisting with GP and D/N's visits. Essential Requirements for Care Co-ordinator: Level 2 Health & Social Care qualification At least one years' experience as a Care Assistant in a residential or nursing home setting Live within 20 minutes of the Home Preferred Requirements for Care Co-ordinator: One years' experience working in a similar role in a residential or nursing home Two years' experience as a Care Assistant in a residential or nursing home NVQ Level 3 in Adult Health and Social Care or above A little about Jasmine: By prioritising our people, our mission is to provide the highest standards of care to as many elderly residents as possible.
