Job summary The Community Rehab Unit is a 14-bedded inpatient unit, that delivers rehab in a safe and high-quality care setting and ensures a positive patient experience within an enabling environment where patients participate in a rehab programme. You will be supported by the Unit Lead and Senior Nurses in the division to achieve this goal. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team, bringing excellent clinical skills and a passion to provide the highest quality patient-focused care. You must be a team player with excellent communication skills and have the ability to work using your own initiative as well as part of the wider team. Main duties of the job To work as a member of the team providing nursing care for patients on the Community Unit. The post holder has the following key elements in their role: A professional role promoting a positive image of the Community Unit Provision of nursing care for Community Unit patients An educational role for patients, carers and new team members Instigate / participate in the assessment, implementation and evaluation of patient care. Ensure that contemporaneous patient records (including clinical observations) are maintained, all paper entries dated, timed and signed and electronic records attributable to yourself.
