We are seeking an outstanding and dedicated Teacher of Mathematics to join our team in November 2024 for a one-year maternity cover position. This part-time role (0.6 FTE) is ideal for a passionate and ambitious individual eager to contribute to and learn from the best practices within our faculty.
Responsibilities:
1. Deliver high-quality mathematics instruction to students, ensuring all lessons are engaging and aligned with the curriculum.
2. Maintain and uphold the highest professional and academic standards.
3. Stay current with subject knowledge and innovative teaching methodologies.
4. Collaborate effectively with colleagues to ensure the faculty operates smoothly as a cohesive team.
5. Commit to the safeguarding and welfare of all students.
Requirements:
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
2. Demonstrated passion for Mathematics and a strong commitment to its teaching.
3. Consistently display a high level of professionalism.
4. Proven experience and positive impact in a similar teaching role.
5. A commitment to safeguarding children and upholding their welfare.
6. An ability to embody and model the Trust’s core behaviors: transparency, kindness, respect, and support for colleagues. Demonstrate tenacity in striving to make a meaningful difference together.
