Get to Know This RoleThe Senior Market Development Representative grows Sierra Nevada sales and market share by leading our wholesaler management efforts and our retail execution within their assigned area. They work with their wholesaler(s) and Sierra Nevada national account team to execute in off and on-premise accounts according to Sierra Nevada standards and expectations. 1. Retail Execution: Spend quality time in market individually and with team to obtain new distribution, execute promotional activity and ensure SNBC brand standards are executed.
2. Manage assigned wholesalers in your area with the respective sales teams with the goal of increasing our sales and market share
3. Provide exceptional service with the goal of becoming their preferred supplier
4. Maintain proactive, solution-oriented communications with supervisors, sales team and wholesalers
5. Develop, deliver, execute and participate in monthly and annual planning meetings for assigned wholesalers and lead the execution of said Annual Business Plans
6. Provide weekly written recaps to wholesalers and SNBC team of business results, opportunities and assigned accountabilities/tasks
7. Responsible for budgets, including co-op dollars, writing incentives and approving bill-backs
8. Assist in the ‘Due Diligence’ Process in regards to the wholesaler transition process
9. Operate effectively within the brewery and budgetary guidelines
10. Works with leadership to ensure that team reports and pricing communication are distributed within the three tiers – SNBC, our chains, and our wholesalers

11. Associate's Degree or any combination of education and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieved required
12. Bachelor's Degree preferred
13. 2 years sales experience preferred
14. Previous sales experience in the alcohol beverage industry preferred
15. In depth knowledge of state and federal liquor laws required
16. Demonstrated ability to consistently achieve company business plan goals, including volume, distribution, and profitability
17. Strong organization and time management skills
18. In-depth knowledge of Sierra Nevada Brewing Co.’s history, culture and product
19. Ability to interface with various levels of management at both retail and wholesale
20. Excellent organizational, analytical, communication and presentation skills
21. Excellent sales skills
22. Self-motivated and ability to work with limited amount of direction; ability to work both independently and within a team to accomplish goals
23. Driver's License free of any major moving violations within the last three years upon hire required
24. Primary residence within the greater Orlando, FL area
