We are looking to appoint a Charity Shop Assistant Manager to join our team, who will support the shop manager with the safe and effective management of the shop and will work to further the mission of The Salvation Army. Key Responsibilities: Key responsibilities will include ensuring the highest standards of customer care, managing the daily operation of the shop in the absence of the shop manager including stock management and shop appearance, accounting of cash, health and safety issues, administrative tasks, and the recruitment, training of volunteers. The successful candidate(s) will be able to demonstrate: Previous experience in a retail environment and working with volunteers.
