Nursery: Bright Horizons Eddington Day Nursery and Preschool
Job Type: Full Time / Permanent / 40 hours / Mon-Fri
Salary: From£27,232per annum (dependant on qualification/s and experience)
We are looking for a full-time, level 2 or above qualified Early Years Practitioner to join our Bright Horizons Eddington Nursery and Pre School.
Bright Horizons Eddington Nursery is set up in an award-winning, sustainable housing estate with very good links to Cambridge town centre by bus, car and bike. The Nursery offers an incredible opportunity to become a part of professionally strong and culturally diverse team with great passion for Early Years and Education. There is a staff room available with kitchen facilities for the team to relax, as well as a separate relaxing lounge to eat lunch and have a chat. Toiletries and goodies are stocked up for our staff too. There is free parking available.

What you’ll be doing
10. Plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities, tailored to each of your key children, to encourage their development towards key milestones.
11. Develop and maintain strong parent/ carer partnerships
12. Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety and safeguarding
13. Work with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy and safe environment
What we’re looking for
14. Full and Relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification (essential)
15. Previous experience working with children (ideally as a Nursery Nurse, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, or similar)
16. Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
17. Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with both colleagues and parents
18. Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
19. Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider legislative requirements for working with children
