As a Pharmacy Technician in one of Rowlands hospital branches you will be given extensive and specialist training as well as gaining exposure to the hospital pharmacy environment.

Key Responsibilities
10. Deliver courteous and effective customer service
11. Carry out all dispensing activities under the supervision of a pharmacist
12. Develop positive working relationships with healthcare professionals
13. Assist in the development of other staff members where appropriate
14. Deliver appropriate healthcare advice and signpost where necessary
15. Ensure that all Essential/Enhanced/Advanced Services are successfully promoted and carried out in accordance with Company SOP’s
16. Assist and participate in healthy living events where necessary
17. Assist in the sale of medicines and other merchandise when required
18. In the absence of a manager, take on additional responsibilities as a registered professional
19. Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the dispensary
20. Perform date checking and cleaning in accordance with company SOP’s and ensure adequate records are maintained
21. Receive, store, maintain, and issue stock in accordance with Company SOP’s
22. Follow shrinkage procedures and use DSRS where appropriate
What We Require
23. NVQ level 3 – Pharmacy Technician
24. GPhC registration
25. Up-to-date knowledge of all statutory regulations
26. Ability to accurately handle medicines
27. Ability to prioritise workload
28. Self-motivation and the ability to take the initiative
29. Ability to work to deadlines
