Accounts Assistant – About The Role
In this role, you will be reporting into the Finance Manager and will be working alongside a team of 3. You will be supporting with the daily running of the accounting function as well as supporting other departments. Your key responsibilities will be:
* Supporting with the management of the Purchase Ledger function- scanning and processing invoices on a daily basis.
* Reconciling of statements to PL.
* Follow up on outstanding invoices and checking invoices are reconciled.
* Managing the accounts inbox and directing queries to the relevant personnel.
* Assist in increasing the productivity and profitability of the accounts department.
* Ensuring compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
* Setting up new suppliers on the accounting system.
The successful Accounts Assistant will have:
* Previous experience in a similar position.
* AAT studiers or QBE candidates will be considered
* Good IT skills
* Attention to detail
* Ability to communicate at all levels.
