Job Description
* Cost Management: Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for industrial Roofing & Cladding projects, ensuring accuracy and comprehensiveness.
* Tendering: Assist in the preparation and analysis of tenders, negotiate contracts, and ensure all contract terms are adhered to.
* Valuations: Conduct regular site visits to assess progress and prepare interim and final valuations.
* Cost Reporting: Monitor project costs and financial performance, providing regular updates and reports to management.
* Contract Administration: Manage contractual documentation, including variations, claims, and dispute resolutions.
* Supplier & Subcontractor Liaison: Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring competitive pricing and quality standards.
* Risk Management: Identify potential risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.
* Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with legal requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
Quantity Surveyor Position Requirements
1. Education / qualifications in a subject relating to Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or Commercial Management.
2. Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the roofing industry (ideally commercial flat roofing)
3. Proficient in quantity surveying software (e.g., CostX, Bluebeam) and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project).
