About the role
• Salary banding (FTE): £57,913.17 per annum to £76,489.09 per annum
• Working pattern: 32 hours a week to 37 hours a week (negotiable)
• Location: Bromley Y, in community settings and some home working
• This role will report into the Board of Trustees
• It is anticipated the role will require 2-3 days a week in the building and in community settings
Reporting to the Board of Trustees, you will ensure the charity is well-positioned to meet the needs of the young people it serves while maintaining financial sustainability and operational excellence. You will work closely with the Clinical Director (new post) to provide effective leadership for Bromley Y, sustaining an organisational culture built around the strategic aims and values of Bromley Y.
The team is very proud of the growth and increased impact it has achieved over recent years but knows that the infrastructure hasn't kept pace with the growing need and continued scrutiny and inspections. The charity needs to consolidate so that it can increase impact and is now looking for a CEO who will lead the team through this next stage and who will relish the challenge. We seek an individual with passion, energy, and the ability to collaborate to springboard the charity upwards and onward for the next phase of its evolution.
Key responsibilities include:
1. To provide an over-arching leadership and strategic focus working alongside the Clinical Director and Senior Leadership Group (SLG)
2. To develop the overall capacity and operational capability of the SLG
3. To strive to give choice and a voice to young people and their parents/carers
4. Ensuring that equality, diversity, and inclusion is embedded and woven into the heart of everything we do both internally and externally.
5. To establish and manage key relationships, partnerships, and contracts with various stakeholders across the voluntary and public sectors.
6. To ensure and oversee a strategy for diverse and sustainable income generation that supports the strategic plan
7. To ensure and oversee robust financial management of resources
8. To support the Board of Trustees to effectively identify, manage and mitigate organisational risk.
The right person
We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager, with a good understanding of services for children and young people services and mental health, with effective internal and external communication and relationship-building skills and of course, you must be aligned with our strong values base. This is an immensely rewarding role which would perfectly suit a person of vision, positivity, and proven delivery.
