Due to our continued growth, we are looking for a full-time Accounts Payable to be based at our head office in Sheffield. This is a fantastic opportunity for a thorough and hardworking person to join our growing business. Reporting to the Management Accountant, this position will be full-time and permanent. What is the role? As Accounts Payable, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring the accurate and timely processing of financial transactions. Key responsibilities include but aren’t limited to: Processing invoices in multiple currencies Reconciling supplier accounts Assisting with payment runs and remittances Period end cost accruals Creating new suppliers Processing pro-forma invoices Ad hoc reporting when required Posting payments in the cashbook Maintain historical records by filing documents Petty Cash ownership Maintaining Purchase Ledger email inboxes, replying to emails within company guidelines Taking supplier calls and managing communications Who you are To be considered for the position, you must be able to offer the following: Experience in a similar role, within a manufacturing company would be ideal, but not essential Strong communication skills Good Excel Skills Excellent attention to detail Ability and confidence to deal with a variety of both internal departments and external customers Ability to work quickly and accurately, often to tight deadlines AAT qualification is desirable but not essential The successful applicant will embrace our unique company culture and will embody all eight of our core values which constitute the ‘Loadhog Edge’.
