We are seeking to recruit a Customer Service Specialist at our Crumlin Site. Our Crumlin site is located approximately 15 miles from the City of Newport in South Wales. The site began operations in 1974, and today produces polypropylene resins used for a wide variety of products. We are one of the world's largest producers of polymers and a leader in polyolefin technologies, developing, manufacturing, and marketing high-quality and innovative products for applications ranging from sustainable transportation and food safety to clean water and quality healthcare.
As the Specialist Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing top-tier customer service working with your customer portfolio and you will be part of our domestic and/or export order fulfilment process. During a typical day, you will receive orders, check product availability, coordinate product transportation and delivery, and ensure accurate invoicing.
You will act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) and first-line support for Level I and Level II Customer Service to resolve customer or business-related challenges, operating with a high degree of knowledge handling customers, products, manufacturing, and transportation procedures.
You will participate in supply chain/interdepartmental projects, building knowledge to become a Super User and sharing your knowledge as Subject Matter Expert. You will become one of the trainers for the new Customer Service staff. You must be able and willing to back-up all businesses within the group and be a natural go-to person in case of operational issues.
* Delivering the highest quality service to your customers, handling customer requests in a timely and professional manner, building long-term value for the company while increasing customer satisfaction.
* Acting as the primary interface with Planning, Sales, Business, and Supply Chain to serve the customer efficiently and effectively to maximize value for LyondellBasell.
* Having the ability and willingness to back-up all businesses within the group and being seen as the natural go-to person in case of operational issues.
* Participating in Supply Chain and interdepartmental projects.
* As Specialist, bringing in ideas to implement/improve processes within Customer Service, supporting a team, and addressing issues properly.
* Developing strong relationships with key stakeholders (customers, planners, business, SC, Finance, etc.) and building an effective network to meet targets efficiently.
* Ensuring that formal governance compliance and company work ethic culture is in place by adhering to all policies and procedures.
* Checking and maintaining accuracy of Customer Master Data in SAP in liaison with the Master Data team to ensure correct deliveries, invoicing, and communication.
Min. Qualifications
College degree preferred or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 3-4 years in Customer Service including Super User responsibilities and/or Supply Chain.
Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United Kingdom (UK) on a permanent basis without visa sponsorship.
