Business Development Manager Remote First (NI/ROI) £50k base OTE £70k MCS Group is delighted to be partnering with a forward-thinking data analytics and AI specialist to recruit a dynamic Business Development Manager to join their team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of cloud solutions, analytics, and AI technologies, focusing on building strategic partnerships and driving new business opportunities. The successful candidate will have a strong background in analytics and cloud platforms (ideally; AWS, Azure, SAS, IBM and databricks) and a focus on AI and Analytics. They will have a proven track record in the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, and will be skilled in leveraging a multi-channel approach to reach key decision-makers. Core responsibilities: End-to-End Sales Cycle Management: Own and manage the full sales lifecycle, including lead generation, qualification, proposal development, negotiations, and closing. Multi-Channel Prospecting: Utilise LinkedIn Sales Navigator, email campaigns, referrals, events, phone outreach, and other tools to generate new business opportunities. Strategic Partnerships: Develop and nurture relationships with key contacts at AWS, Azure, and other relevant cloud platforms, particularly in the fields of AI and analytics. Client Needs Assessment: Understand customer requirements in AI, analytics, and cloud technologies to propose tailored solutions that meet their business objectives. Sales Strategy and Forecasting: Collaborate with senior leadership to define sales strategies, set targets, and provide accurate forecasting and reporting. Market Research: Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities and inform sales strategies. Networking and Events: Represent at industry events, webinars, and networking opportunities to build brand awareness and attract new business. Essential Criteria: Experience in Cloud Solutions: Proven experience in business development and sales, specifically with AWS or Azure solutions within AI, data analytics, or related fields. Multi-Channel Outreach Expertise: Hands-on experience with tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, CRM systems, and other prospecting technologies to drive outreach and engagement. Relationship Building: Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in enterprise-level accounts, including C-suite executives. Knowledge of AI & Analytics: Familiarity with AI, machine learning, data analytics, and cloud technologies to understand client needs and present relevant solutions.
