HR Officer
Location: Wymondham
Salary: £25,584 - £30,060 per annum
The Education Trust was established in 2016 with the purpose of bringing like-minded schools together to work in partnership to deliver a world class education to pupils in Norfolk and Suffolk. The Trust currently consists of 9 secondary schools and 11 primary schools, educating over 5,500 pupils.

This role is based at their Central Hub in Wymondham.
The Role
The HR Officer’s primary role is to work as an integral part of the HR Team, providing the central recruitment and HR Administration function to the allocated Trust schools. The role includes the following:
1. Producing accurate adverts and job descriptions for new posts;
2. Arranging and occasionally conducting interviews with an interview panel;
3. Conducting pre-employment and compliance checks to ensure all new staff meet the requirements;
4. Assisting with induction and on-boarding processes for new staff;
5. Administering HR processes, policies and procedures;
6. Setting up new starters on payroll and calculate complex pay and holiday entitlement;
7. Supporting a head count of approximately 400 members of staff in all HR related queries and contractual changes.
There is the opportunity within the role to work towards CIPD Level 5 via an apprenticeship.

6. Be flexible and resilient in managing and executing their daily responsibilities;
7. Able to demonstrate strong planning and organisational skills;
The qualifications and experience required of a HR Officer are:
1. Ideally, hold a recognised Human Resources qualification or have equivalent experience or be willing to work towards a CIPD qualification;
2. Have a strong track record of good quality administration and be proficient in ICT database and software systems, particularly Microsoft Office, Access, Excel and Word;
3. Previous experience of the MHR iTrent MIS would be an advantage, but full training will be provided.
