Job Overview:
As a Pre-Litigation Analyst, you will be at the centre of providing TMLEP’s clinical evidence services. You will be principally managing your own caseload of clinical investigations, with cases varying in complexity; you may be handling a clinical negligence investigation into a paediatric neurosurgical complication that occurred mid-surgery which resulted in a life-changing outcome, or a simple case concerning a missed fracture on a CT scan.

2. You will be continually writing emails and speaking to doctors and lawyers over the telephone; therefore, you will need to have excellent writing and communication skills.
3. You will be responsible for autonomously managing a high volume of clinical investigations and must ensure that TMLEP’s services are delivered effectively at all times; it is, therefore, essential you are able to effectively manage your time and handle multiple tasks in a confident, efficient and timely manner.
4. You will be reviewing large amounts of information, usually at speed; therefore, you must have an eye for detail so you can detect issues at a glance.
5. You will be working independently (once you are fully trained); therefore, you must be very self-motivated and self-disciplined.
6. TMLEP routinely handle urgent and time-sensitive matters; therefore, you must be able to work to tight deadlines and in stressful situations, occasionally outside typical office hours.
7. You must be eligible to work in the UK (without requiring a visa or sponsorship).
