The Role:
The Faculty of Health Education, Medicine and Social Care offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses including doctoral level studies. Our new School of Medicine was established in 2018 and offers a five year undergraduate Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery. We also offer a wide range of postgraduate short courses and conferences. Our dynamic approach ensures that our students receive a high quality, research informed educational experience.
We are looking for a new Pharmacology, Prescribing and Therapeutics lecturer/senior lecturer for the MBChB course. This post will lead on the Prescribing and Therapeutics theme within the MBChB course. The post holder will teach on the Undergraduate Medicine course primarily as well as feeding into other courses as appropriate.
Minimum Requirements:
Candidates should have a degree plus PhD or Professional Doctorate (or be near completion within the first 18 months of employment). Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential for this role.
