Job Overview:
As a Professional Sales Consultant at Avino Windows and Doors, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth of our business by building and nurturing relationships with clients. You will offer expert guidance, design solutions, and manage the sales process from lead generation to project completion. Your primary goal will be to provide top-tier customer service while achieving sales targets and contributing to the company’s overall success.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead Generation & Client Acquisition:
Proactively source and develop new business opportunities through referrals, networking, cold calling, and industry events. Engage with prospective clients to understand their needs and offer tailored solutions that meet their requirements.
2. Consultative Sales:
Meet with clients to conduct in-depth consultations, understand their vision, and recommend the best window and door products for their projects. Provide expert advice on product features, benefits, and installation processes to ensure clients make informed decisions.
3. Estimating and Quote Preparation:
Prepare cost-effective and comprehensive quotations. Work closely with supplier partners to ensure best value.
4. Sales Process Management:
Manage the entire sales process from initial consultation to closing deals. Prepare and present accurate, professional quotes, contracts, and proposals based on client needs and preferences.
5. Relationship Management:
Build long-term relationships with clients, providing follow-up support to ensure satisfaction and potential future business. Assist with any client inquiries or issues that arise post-sale, ensuring a high level of customer service.
6. Product Knowledge & Market Insight:
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, products, and competitors to remain a trusted expert for clients. Continuously enhance product knowledge to ensure you can provide innovative solutions to meet the specific needs of clients.
7. Collaboration & Team Support:
Work closely with the design and installation teams to ensure smooth project delivery. Share feedback with the marketing and product development teams to improve offerings and customer satisfaction.
8. Achieving Sales Targets:
Meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics on a regular basis. Keep accurate records of all sales activity, client communications, and project progress in the company CRM.
Qualifications & Skills:
Proven experience in sales, preferably in the home improvement, construction, or window and door industry. Strong understanding of timber/Aluclad window and door products, installation processes, and the ability to offer customised solutions. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-centric approach. Ability to build rapport and relationships with a diverse range of clients. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to close sales effectively. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software. A valid driving license is required as the role involves visiting clients at their locations.
Desirable:
Previous experience in high-end or luxury product sales in the timber/Aluclad market. A background in design or architecture is a plus. Knowledge of the latest trends in eco-friendly and energy-efficient windows and doors. Degree in construction engineering and management.
