Job Title – Sales Administrator
Salary – Up to 26k
Location – Leicester LE8
Hours – Mon – Friday 8:30am – 5pm
Purpose of the Sales Administrator role:
Our client is looking for a Sales Administrator to respond to Customer Sales enquiries and orders efficiently to ensure they meet the customer demand and expectation. This is a customer facing role which requires you to build strong Customer relationships within the Sales department.
Main duties and responsibilities of a Sales Administrator:
Handle incoming sales admin and reception overflow calls, ensuring confident communication and ownership of queries.
Generate machinery, hire, and miscellaneous invoices on the ADP system and submit them to customers.
Update machinery serial and engine info in ADP and Manufacturer JDS systems, including machinery location and release details.
Process customer orders from the Sales team or email, save them to the shared company drive.
Order new machines or make machine specification changes as needed.
Monitor machine status via Dealer Order Status software and update Salesforce with machine orders, demos, and leads.
Create job cards and manage vehicle registration numbers, ensuring all systems are updated.
Order equipment/supplies and maintain an attachment serial number register.
Coordinate machine deliveries with transport suppliers and prepare necessary delivery documentation.
Record machine transport movements and log in the diary system.
Prepare and log all necessary sales documentation (F91/Lola, COC, CPA forms) and update relevant spreadsheets.
Scan, save, and post monthly machine files.
Assist the Sales Admin Manager and team, providing cover during absences
Experience/knowledge requirements for a Sales Administrator:
Proven record of working within a customer sales environment.
Honest, reliable, trustworthy, good time keeper.
Ability to work on own initiative.
Ability to communicate efficiently at all levels – verbally, in print and on the telephone.
Be able to Multitask and handle several Customer demands at any given time
Be able to manage time and projects effectively
Be motivated, focused and detail orientated.
Be professional, cheerful, co-operative and flexible at all times.
Have knowledge and experience in using Microsoft Office Software, ADP Computer System
Have efficient networking skills
