Job Summary:
The Floating Manager will be a significant contributor to the overall success of the management team. They will support the management team in locations throughout Vermont and New York by overseeing the supervision of retail staff, operational efficiencies, and assisting in the successful achievement of profitable sales growth.
Essential Job Functions:
* Ensure high level quality experience for all customers.
* Complete required daily accounting paperwork and daily bank deposits as needed.
* Recruit, hire, train, motivate, discipline & terminate staff as needed.
* Order and receive merchandise according to established procedures.
* Maintain the highest level of site conditions.
* Assist covering store manager vacations and other staffing needs.
* Flexible and changing work schedule.
* Protect company assets.
* Other duties as assigned by management.
Physical Requirements:
* Frequent bending, reaching.
* Be able to lift up to 50lbs. on occasion.
* Driving for up to 1-2 hours.
* Driver’s license required.
* Reliable personal vehicle.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Prior management, leadership experience preferred.
* Basic computer proficiency.
* Ability to work with minimal supervision.
* Availability for occasional weekends, holidays & evening shifts.
